Bangkok, Thailand: My First Solo Travel

Traveling alone was part of my bucket list. I'm 16 by then and I promise to myself that I'm going to travel at the very young age. Then voila! Mission accomplished. I traveled outside the country ALL BY MYSELF at the age of 19. I know I'm not the only person who did solo travelling at the young age but I can't contain the joy to myself. So let me just share my solo travelling experience in Thailand.

Elephants, temples and street food these are the things that comes to my mind when I heard Thailand. Since it would be my first solo travel, I want to go to some part of South-east Asian country where I can spend less (since I don't have a lot of savings). I'm actually thinking what country will I visit, 'cause I would like to go to either to these three: Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam.
And since I love Mario Maurer (insert heart emoji here), I decided to go to Thailand.

Actually, I'm planning to travel while I'm still 18 yrs.old. But I realized I have a lot of duties in school and work and the month that I'm going to be available would be on March. My birth date was in February so definitely I already turned 19 by the time that I'm going to Thailand.

The day before the flight

I'm not excited. I feel so normal. Maybe because few people supported me. I was able to tell to my aunt that I'm going somewhere tomorrow. My original plan was to tell it to her once I arrive at the airport. But of course, I didn't want them to worry so I told my aunt that I have a flight on the next day. Fortunately my mom was very supportive, I already told her about it a long time ago.
I packed my stuff, I just brought few things since I'll stay there for few days. I slept to my brothers house 'cause it's nearer at the airport. I slept around 1 am, I gradually feel the excitement.
I started to realize things. I'm going outside the country all by myself tomorrow. Should I go? Can I survive? Am I really going to Thailand? Am I just dreaming? These are the questions that kept playing in my mind on that night. Ugh I need to sleep. My flight was quite early tomorrow.
